RONA Fort Nelson celebrates store transformation after major renovation

A long-standing Fort Nelson business is marking a major update after completing a full renovation and redesign of its store.

RONA Fort Nelson, which has served the community since 1989, recently finished a large-scale transformation that included renovations throughout the store and a reconfiguration of its showroom.

Owner Ed Bulley and the store team will host an official event to recognize the changes, which will include a board-cutting ceremony with members of the store team, RONA representatives and local officials expected to attend.

The updated store now features more than 18,000 square feet of retail space, along with an outdoor lumber yard and covered building materials area.

The renovation also brought changes to the store’s product selection, with about 2,000 new items added across categories including seasonal products, kitchen and bath supplies, BBQs, patio furniture and kitchen cabinets.

The store said the changes were designed to improve the shopping experience and better meet the needs of local homeowners and contractors.
