The intersection of 52 Avenue East and 42 Street in Fort Nelson will be closed for the latter half of this workweek as crews work in the area.
“To ensure safety, the intersection will be temporarily closed during the day on January 15th and 16th,” the Northern Rockies regional municipality wrote in its heads-up for residents.
Allteck crews will be replacing poles at the intersection during this closure, and detours will be in place. Drivers will see “local access maintained where possible,” according to the update from staff at the Bear Pit.
“We appreciate your patience while Allteck completes these important upgrades,” the regional municipality said.
